I believe the Earth is drying up because our hearts are. We refuse to cry. Yet, rain is a gift from heaven that soothes the Earth and fertilize its grounds. That is the symbiosis between the Earth and the sky. The Earth receives the soft balm of feelings from the sky, its tears of love, joy and compassion, allows herself to be permeated by such softness to the core of her so her wells and gardens can bloom.
You may say: I don’t know how to cry anymore. And the sky in all kindness asks a soul: are you willing to accept a mission that might temporarily impair your life, in order to help another soul to reconnect with her heart? ‘Of course, she said’ for a life lived without a heart is the same as being dead. I too, will come back to life through that challenge. So synchronized events come like a thunderstorm, literally shocking people’s hearts back to life and feel again. “I didn’t know I was holding so much pain inside…that was the meaning of the rage I held.” And tears to flow abundantly, flooding the lands of despair. And all one has left is their own person to comfort. Only tears and loneliness. One step in front of another. Living by the day. Until one day, where in the midst of all that rain, the first rays of peace. We start trusting the process. Tears continue to flow, alternating with more blue sky. Encouraged by our progress, we stop trying to control the experience to get better - we allow the process to take place and come to peace with whatever may come: anger, sadness, despair, raw pain. And we sit in stillness, not for the sake of channeling these uncomfortable feelings, but rather to listen…
Eventually, it is the melody of our soul that we hear: it is all the repressed love that we seek to express. And soon we realize that grief doesn’t come from feeling. Grief is all the love we didn’t get the chance to express. And pain goes away as we let our love flow and receive it in return.
Love is a vibration and an energy. It needs to circulate. Hold it in and the tension will increasingly mount until your entire body screams for pain. And your mind will fight, it will only recall all the rejections, humiliations and betrayal of the past. Terrified it will warn you of the risks. But love is like a sleeping volcano, always ready to erupt.
Nothing stops love. Nothing ever has, and nothing ever will.
So when you ask “Why me?” in despair, know that Grace is bestowed upon you. That emptiness you couldn’t name was the dryness of your heart. And your prayer was answered. You might ask why it had to be so violent ? Because any previous attempt to open your heart had failed, and only electroshock could shake you enough so you come out of resignation. Until then you had merely survived…
Ask again “Why me?” and I will answer “Because you are so blessed, my love. You were unaware of all the pain that you held and needed to release in order to align with love, which is your pure essence.”
Don’t be afraid of the passion you feel. Let it flow through you like a bursting stream of freshness, that regenerates you from the inside and clean away all your old mess.
Don’t be afraid of life. Take it in. Believe in your own worth. Trust in the goodness of the universe. Trust that it leads you to greener pastures.
But don’t just cross the bridge: you have to jump! you have to leap!
Then. Only then, will you discover that you were made to fly
“There is an ocean of wellness that lies under the pain, right inside of you. Don’t be afraid of sinking as you will touch the truth of you faster.”
